GISODIV is the Spanish acronym for the Group of Socio-cultural Studies of Design in Venezuela. It is a research group created in 2008 at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, University of Los Andes (Venezuela), to study the way in which graphic, industrial and architectural designs deal with socio-cultural issues of the Venezuelan society.
The Board of CDCHT / ULA, approved this group with the code: ZG-SDV-01-08-06.
GISODIV aims to delineate aspects of symbolic ecology, in wich should be immersed the design in Venezuela.
